W.E. (Ed) Patterson is a native midwesterner who has called Florida home for decades. He is a professional technical writer with over 45 years of experience writing commercial software user guides and designing online help systems. He has also written poetry and fiction for many years.

His poetry has appeared in Pasque Petals, the South Dakota State Poetry Journal, as well as on outlawpoetry.com. He is the author of the novella “The DUI Guy” and two volumes of poetry. He is currently working on a thriller set in the Florida Keys. He blogs about poetry, writing, and anything else that interests him.
