As Astronaut Buzz Aldrin said, “Taking a chance allows us to seek new horizons, and we all benefit by being horizon hunters.”

Horizons showcases the amazing talent previously hidden on the Space Coast.

We hope to make the team. We hope to get into a good school and make high grades. Then, we hope to get out of school with low debt. Then, we hope to get married and buy a house where we can grow our family. We hope to land that million-dollar book deal. We hope Hollywood will turn our book into a huge box office success. Then, a lot of times our hopes are shattered by obstacles that get in our way; some of them small and easy to jump over but some are a brick wall with no way to overcome it.
We are human beings, and it is in our DNA to never lose HOPE. We HOPE to portray various types of HOPE so to inject some of that precious juice into our readers.

“Cities breaking and people shaking” were popular lyrics nearly fifty years ago and yet describe the struggle for SURVIVAL we face in our communities today. This SURVIVAL collection by Florida authors shows over and over how we suffer pain and endure grief to rise above all with our lives—scarred but triumphant. We are Survivors!

Dreams can be as vivid as reality, making us question what is true and what is imaginary. What secrets do dreams reveal about ourselves?
This anthology from the Space Coast Writers’ Guild (SCWG) is a collection of bittersweet stories filled with recollections of holidays past, present, and future.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “perseverance” as “continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.”
An incomplete angel named Clarence once told a despondent banker named George, “No man is a failure who has friends.”
Spring is traditionally a time when the circle of life begins again. It’s a time of new beginnings, full of hope and opportunity.
Life is full of minor annoyances, but by adopting an “attitude of gratitude,” you can easily change your perspective.
