Lolisa Marie Monroe is an award-winning children’s book author who has shared her gentle, whimsical tales for over a decade. A lifelong advocate for literacy, she spent years promoting reading and education in rural Maine schools. As a library trustee, she helped lead summer reading programs and encouraged children to write and share their own stories.

Her series, Miss Lolisa’s Tales & Tails, combines her faith and love for children and animals in delightful, timeless stories. Each tale entertains while softly encouraging acceptance and inclusion in the most curious places.

Ms. Monroe is the mother of two amazing young women and lives in Satellite Beach with her husband, Scott.
