Kit (Christopher Robin) Adams, who has lived in Brevard for 58 years and raised his family for 20 years in Kansas City, Missouri, began writing in 1958 and has been published from England to Hawaii; Missouri and Florida poetry readings are well received.

A 10-year National Board Certified English Teacher, he is a mentor with the National Writing Project, a Space Coast Writers Guild treasurer, and President of Scribblers, a Brevard writing group.

His first collection of poetry, Spanish Cedar, Preserving the ART of the Cigar Experience, appeared in March, 2014. His chapbook, Idealism in Realism: the Romantic Ideal in Victorian Poetry, won first place in a SCWG contest (2023).

In a Written in the Sun publication in 2022, his poetry “The Train Station and Beyond” and short story “Johnny Ringdahl and Mr. Merritt” each won first place. His memoir, My Class, Your Field, will be published in 2027.
