The Space Coast Writers' Guild was first established in 1982 as the Florida Space Coast Writers' Conference, Inc. with the express purpose of providing an annual conference that would bring together area authors with publishers, agents, and other successful authors throughout the writing community. Today, as a quick look at the Past Speakers tab above reveals, we are proud to continue that tradition, bringing in authors, agents and editors from around the country (and occasionally from around the world).
The one comment that continues to reach us each year is that despite the level of expertise of the many writers in this area and of the speakers we bring in, we consistently manage to maintain that small-conference atmosphere that gives our attendees the one-on-one feel they can't get from larger events, and we still manage to do it all for less money than any other conference in the area.
